The Love for Stitcheries and the Simple Life

Making these modern primitive pillows is work done the old way by those who understand what it means to "make it do." The result is priceless. Pillows that remind us of simpler times.
As I get older and often wisdom trumps foolishness, I finally have learned to slow down. With the help of my loving and patient husband and his logic - I am on my way to living the simple life that I've oftened dream about. A simple life doesn't mean that we live stress-free or we are living rich either. A simple life to me just means that - simplifying.Making do with what I have.Finding that inner-peace is to me means being still even for just a moment. It's taken me a long time. A very long, long time to see things clearly. After raising two wonderful children and watching them experience life with all the trials and tribulations gave me multiplied grace, followed by peace. I am forever grateful for my husband. His loving support and devotion is the reason why I believe that I can reach that dream of doing what I love.
Last March of 2011, we became grandparents to a beautiful baby girl!! Being with her makes everything and anything more joyous...and yes, my lesson in patience is paying off because love also trumps anything! So love what you do and so peace will be with you!
